Job Title: Product Designer

We are seeking a Product Designer with a strong eye for design and a deep understanding of user experience best practices. This role is crucial to our product development, ensuring intuitive, high-quality user interfaces across our buyer-facing and brand/dealership-facing products. The ideal candidate is creative, user-focused, and excels at translating complex ideas into user-centered designs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain comprehensive design systems and user flows while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.
• Utilize Figma to design, refine, and document UX patterns and design systems.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to implement pixel-perfect interfaces.
• Translate design concepts into wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups.
• Spec new features with an optimal balance between aesthetics, usability, and performance.
• Guide and mentor junior designers to foster a culture of continuous improvement in design practices.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience with active personal portfolio showcasing design process and finished work.
• Strong skills in visual design, typography, spacing, and visual hierarchy.
• Deep understanding of user experience principles and designing for multiple screen sizes.
• Excellent communication skills to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
• Experience optimizing checkout experiences is a plus.
• Knowledge of front-end technologies (React, JavaScript, TypeScript) and testing frameworks (Cypress) is a bonus.
• Ability to work in agile environments with rapid design iterations.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary: £80K – £160K, plus equity.
