Job Title: Event Marketing Lead

We are seeking an Event Marketing Lead to build and execute a best-in-class event strategy. This role is perfect for a data-driven event marketer with a passion for driving ROI and creating innovative in-person marketing experiences. The Event Marketing Lead will manage event sponsorships, coordinate community activations, and collaborate with internal teams to maximize client engagement.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute an industry-leading event marketing strategy across owned events, sponsored third-party events, and community activations.
  • Use the Vendelux platform to identify high-ROI events to attend and sponsor.
  • Generate sales pipeline from events while deepening relationships with customers and partners.
  • Manage event sponsorships, negotiate contracts, and monitor ROI to ensure event success.
  • Organize and execute owned events such as community meetups, happy hours, and client dinners.
  • Coordinate pre- and post-event outreach and logistics to optimize engagement.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to ensure maximum client and prospect interaction at events.
  • Act as a thought leader in event marketing, representing the company on best practices in the industry.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in event marketing at a tech company.
  • Proven track record of managing an annual events budget and generating ROI from events.
  • Strong data-driven approach with the ability to link events to sales pipeline and results (badge scans are not a KPI).
  • Highly organized and results-driven, with the ability to prioritize high-impact activities.
  • Experience in fast-paced environments and a quick learner.
  • Demonstrated career progress and a history of exceeding goals.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary: £80K – £200K (equivalent to $100K – $250K USD)
