Job Title: Senior Web Developer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Web Developer with expertise in modern CMS platforms such as WordPress, Drupal, and Joomla, as well as e-commerce platforms like Shopify and Magento. The ideal candidate will be highly skilled in front-end and back-end development, with 5+ years of experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, MySQL, and PHP.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain custom themes using tools like Photoshop, Sketch, and InVision.
  • Perform advanced edits on plugins and work with REST APIs, AJAX, and JSON.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver highly interactive digital experiences with a focus on great user experience.
  • Install, configure, and maintain Apache/IIS-based web servers.
  • Ensure responsive web design, fluid layouts, and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Optimize websites for Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and analyze site traffic to create custom reports.
  • Lead or collaborate with other developers on projects, offering technical direction and creative solutions.
  • Work within Agile/Scrum methodologies, using source code management tools such as Git or SVN.

Requirements:

  • Mastery of web technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (jQuery, ember.js, angular.js), and JSON.
  • Strong familiarity with CMS platforms such as WordPress, Joomla, and Drupal.
  • Experience with responsive web design, cross-browser solutions, and UI enhancements using JavaScript/jQuery.
  • Ability to interface with back-end technologies, frameworks, and services.
  • Experience with source code management tools (e.g., Git, SVN).
  • Strong understanding of SEO best practices and web analytics.
  • Excellent communication skills and experience working with clients.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Full-Time: £80K per year (equivalent to $100K USD).
  • Part-Time: £32K per year (equivalent to $40K USD).
  • Earning potential is uncapped.
