Job Title: Finance Manager
We are seeking a Finance Manager with strong expertise in project-specific budgeting, financial planning, and process improvements. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with project managers and senior leadership to ensure efficient financial reporting, budget management, and strategic alignment of financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Budget Management
- Oversee the creation, tracking, and reporting of client-specific project budgets.
- Collaborate with project managers to maintain accurate forecasting and ensure financial accountability.
- Conduct variance analysis to identify financial trends, risks, and opportunities.
Financial Planning and Reporting
- Integrate project-specific financials into company-wide budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Prepare detailed performance reports and present insights on project profitability and cost management.
- Support leadership with financial insights to guide strategic decision-making.
Collaboration and Business Partnering
- Partner with project managers and department leads to align financials with project goals.
- Act as a financial resource to help teams manage budgets and strategic priorities.
- Collaborate with accounting for accurate cost allocation and revenue tracking.
Process Improvement
- Drive process improvement initiatives for seamless financial tracking and reporting.
- Champion the use of ERP tools for improved accuracy in client reporting and internal processes.
- Identify and implement solutions to streamline workflows and improve data accuracy.
Ad Hoc Analysis and Compliance
- Analyze client budget usage to optimize resource allocation and billing practices.
- Assist with compliance and audit processes related to project financials.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA or CFA preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in FP&A or project finance roles, preferably in project-based organizations.
- Expertise in project budgeting, financial modeling, and variance analysis.
- Advanced Excel proficiency; experience with Epicor or similar financial tools is a plus.
- Strong proficiency in Google Suite (Sheets, Docs, Slides) for collaboration and analysis.
- Excellent communication skills to translate financial data into actionable insights.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Attention to detail, proactive mindset, and a focus on process improvement.
