Job Title: Wastewater Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Wastewater Engineer to join an energy infrastructure client in Dubai, UAE. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for engineering professionals with expertise in wastewater system design, operations, and project management. Relocation assistance is available for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead water and wastewater system design and development projects, including system modeling, planning, design, cost estimating, and scope development.
• Provide operational support to water and wastewater operating staff by monitoring system performance, modifying procedures, and offering technical advice and training.
• Manage complex water and wastewater construction projects, overseeing scope, budget, resource procurement, permitting, site inspections, and testing.
• Sign and seal system drawings, specifications, and reports.
• Prepare and evaluate Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and make bid award recommendations based on procurement policies.
• Conduct complex field inspections, including testing, and document/report any non-conformance with design plans.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders regarding engineering requirements and utility projects.
• Prepare technical, financial, and process analysis reports.
• Train and mentor junior engineers and project management staff.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering with 5+ years of engineering experience.
• 3+ years of recent wastewater engineering experience strongly preferred.
• Professional Engineer (PE) or Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification preferred.
• Experience in utilities, infrastructure, construction, or energy sectors is highly desirable.
• Strong software knowledge and experience in relevant engineering applications.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Base Salary: $100K – $140K (DOE) plus bonus.
