Job Title: System Administrator

We are seeking a System Administrator to join a dynamic team responsible for managing server, storage, and virtualization technologies across multiple client environments. The role involves core infrastructure design, implementation, and ensuring compliance with industry best practices in a secure cloud-based environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain Active Directory Domain Services, including DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, LDAP, authentication protocols, and permission delegation using the least privilege methodology.
  • Design and manage VMware clusters, including vCenter and Horizon.
  • Perform system administration tasks, such as log monitoring, performance monitoring, and operating system updates in cloud-based environments.
  • Assist in troubleshooting hardware and software issues on standalone computers and perform security scans for compliance with NIST 800-x and RMF requirements.
  • Implement and manage security controls, PKI, and SSO infrastructure.
  • Use PowerShell or other scripting languages for automation and system configuration.
  • Work with vulnerability scanners (e.g., Nessus, SCAP in SCCM) to ensure system security.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and clients to deliver a high level of service and ensure system performance and reliability.

Required Qualifications:

  • Strong experience with Active Directory administration and VMware clusters.
  • Familiarity with Cisco CCNA-level networking.
  • Proficiency with current versions of Windows Server (2012, 2016) and Windows 10 Enterprise.
  • Experience with PowerShell scripting for automation.
  • Understanding of NIST 800-x and RMF compliance requirements.
  • Familiarity with NTFS permissions, DFS namespaces, PKI, and SSO infrastructure.
  • Security+ certification is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Ansible and Atlassian Suite (JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket) is a bonus.

Compensation:

$100K – $190K annually, based on experience.
