The Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced Employment Solicitor to join the Charities team at a leading UK law firm. This is an outstanding opportunity to work on high-quality employment law matters for charity and third-sector clients. The role involves handling a mix of contentious and non-contentious work, providing advisory services, and representing clients in Employment Tribunal cases.

Working closely with the Partner, you will also play a key role in team management and supervision, helping to drive the growth of this dynamic and well-regarded practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a broad range of employment matters, including tribunal cases and advisory work.

  • Provide high-level legal support to a portfolio of charity and third-sector clients.

  • Assist in team management and supervision, fostering the development of junior team members.

  • Engage in business development activities to build strong client relationships and encourage retention and referrals.

  • Contribute to the growth and success of the Charities team.


Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • A minimum of 8 years' PQE with significant experience in employment law and tribunal cases.

  • Strong technical knowledge and an ability to provide pragmatic, client-focused advice.

  • A proactive approach to business development and relationship building.

  • Exceptional communication skills and a track record of delivering outstanding client service.

  • Experience working with charity or third-sector clients is highly desirable.
