The Opportunity:
We are seeking a commercially savvy and strategic Client Director to drive growth and client success at a leading agency. As a key member of the Growth Team, you will maximise revenue opportunities, deliver high-impact work, and lead happy, high-performing client teams.
This role blends business development and client relationship management, with 50% of your time spent engaging with businesses to generate new opportunities and the other 50% focused on creating exceptional value for existing clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact and voice of the client within the agency.
- Drive growth opportunities, proactively increasing revenue and identifying ways to deliver greater value to clients.
- Lead pitch teams, craft strategic responses, and win new business opportunities.
Develop a deep understanding of client industries and offer strategic insights that shape the agency’s work.
Manage large-scale client accounts with budgets of £500k+, ensuring profitability and excellence in delivery.
Run well-organised, happy, and high-performing multi-disciplinary teams.
Lead QBRs and client engagement activities while driving strategic client plans and revenue forecasts.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Strong strategic thinking and marketing knowledge, with a deep understanding of marketing planning and channels.
- Proven experience in pitching, winning work, and leading client engagement.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to provide clear recommendations from complex client briefs.
- Experience managing clients with agency budgets of £500k+ (experience with £1m+ budgets is desirable).
- Entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to think beyond client briefs and provide innovative solutions.
