About the Role
The RF Integration Engineer will focus on bridging the gap between RF circuit design and prototyping, playing a pivotal role in integrating RF circuits with bias networks, power supplies, and high-power amplifiers. This role requires hands-on experience in troubleshooting issues such as grounding problems, floating grounds, and power level mismatches in multi-amplifier systems. The successful candidate will work on cutting-edge RF systems, contributing to innovative research and high-performance solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Integrate and verify RF sub-modules at both individual and system levels.
- Evaluate and enhance the performance of RF subsystems, including thermal management, mechanical, and electrical performance.
- Perform RF budgeting, frequency planning, and signal integrity analysis.
- Create block diagrams and schematics based on project requirements.
- Automate test setups using LabView, Python, or Matlab for RF system characterization.
- Assemble, solder, tune, and test various RF and electronic circuits.
- Collaborate with the team to design and develop analogue, RF, and mixed-signal boards.
- Publish research papers and attend international conferences.
- Collaborate with scientific partners, suppliers, and manufacturers.
Ideal Candidate Profile
We are seeking experienced RF Integration Engineers with a deep understanding of RF systems integration, from circuit design to prototype testing and troubleshooting.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Strong understanding of RF circuits, including LNAs, power amplifiers, mixers, and oscillators.
- Hands-on experience in component-level and assembly-level troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in LabView, Python, or MATLAB for test automation and RF system characterization.
- Experience in PCB design and circuit mounting.
- Familiarity with laboratory measurement tools like VNA, spectrum analyzers, and waveform generators.
- Master’s degree in RF/µW Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
- 5+ years of R&D experience in RF systems integration.
- Excellent command of English (spoken and written).
