About the Role

The successful candidate will serve as a Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) Lead, monitoring and analysing diverse information sources to provide actionable insights and deliver both proactive and reactive cyber threat intelligence services. This role is essential in helping build an advanced threat intelligence framework, enabling better visibility and response to emerging threats.

The ideal candidate will have experience in cyber threat intelligence, threat modelling, and working with security operations teams to strengthen an organisation's security posture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and analyse intelligence reports, threat dashboards, and CTI feeds for emerging threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Perform threat modelling and build comprehensive threat actor profiles.
  • Manage IOC ingestion and intelligence integration with security tools.
  • Collaborate with Cyber Security teams to share actionable intelligence related to TTPs, mapping them to MITRE ATT&CK.
  • Process and validate ransomware alerts, assessing the potential impact on the business.
  • Maintain a threat actor library and generate detailed post-incident reports.
  • Conduct dark web research, social media analysis, and threat actor attribution using OSINT and closed-source intelligence.

Ideal Candidate Profile

We are looking for candidates with a strong background in Security Operations, Cyber Threat Intelligence, and Incident Response. The ideal individual will have hands-on experience working with SIEM technologies, log monitoring, and an in-depth understanding of threat landscapes.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in cyber threat intelligence, including dark web research, data fusion, link analysis, and threat attribution.
  • Experience developing threat advisories for Security Operations teams.
  • Knowledge of SIEM technologies, IDS/IPS, firewalls, DLP, and network security tools.
  • Familiarity with attack patterns such as DDoS, malicious code activity, and network probing.
  • Industry knowledge of threats specific to the utilities, retail energy, or oil and gas sectors (desirable).
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field preferred (relevant experience will also be considered).
